3. Please follow the procedure as written on the CPU protection cover, install processor before removing the cover to protect socket contacts, please keep and reinstall the cover if the processor is removed. |

However, since the CPU socket is different than AM4, please make sure your CPU cooler has the correct accessories for AM5 platform if your application requires an aftermarket CPU bracket. |
